The Disney Channel has renewed the comedy "Girl Meets the World" for a third season, which will premiere in Spring 2016. This is reported by the Deadline edition.
"A Girl Learns the World" is the highest rated TV series on cable channels for children and adolescents in terms of cumulative views, and is also one of the five most popular cable TV series among children from 2 to 11 years old and adolescents from 9 to 14.
The main character of the series, Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and her best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), face the difficulties of adolescence every day and try to find your place in this world. The second season of the series explored issues such as autism, cyberbullying and forgiveness. In the third season, Riley and her friends will begin a whole new chapter in their life - ndash; they go to high school.
Girl Meets the World is a spin-off or sequel to the 90's Boy Meets World, which was also created by Michael Jacobs and April Kelly. It focused on Riley's future parents Corey (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel).
A Girl Meets the World Season 3 production begins in January 2016. In addition to the named actors, the series also stars August Maturo, Peyton Meyer and Corey Fogelmanis.
