Jason Statham has joined a line of actors ready to take over James Bond from Daniel Craig. In an interview with the British edition of The Guardian, the actor admitted that he dreams of playing 007.
"Would I like to do it? Damn it, damn it, like it! Can I do it? Damn it, damn it, like it!" - he said. According to Statham, Craig had a great Bond, but his version would be very different from this "refined look." "Yes, I would have presented a worthy Bond, but completely different," the actor summed up.
Note that various actors were named as possible successors of Craig, including Idris Elba, familiar to viewers from the Luther TV series and the projects of the Marvel studio. Craig himself has repeatedly said that he is ready to play 007 as long as the owners of the famous franchise need his services.
Recall that the 24th episode of "Bond" entitled "007: Specter", in which James Bond will once again face the ghosts and his own past, will be presented to British viewers on October 23, 2015. The movie will be released worldwide on November 6, 2015. The movie also stars Monica Bellucci, Dave Batista, Daniel Craig, Rafe Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomi Harris, Andrew Scott and other actors.
