BBC has selected the best American movies
The British TV channel BBC organized a vote in which the leading movie critics from different countries took part in order to determine the best movies of American cinema. The first place in this ranking was taken by the drama "Citizen Kane" by Orson Welles, the second was "The Godfather" by Francis Ford Coppola, and the third - the thriller "Vertigo" by Alfred Hitchcock.
