Twin Peaks Coming 2017
Fans of the cult drama Twin Peaks will have to be patient in anticipation of David Lynch's relaunch Showtime production. Leslie Moonves, CEO of CBS Corporation, has announced that the drama series will premiere in 2017. His words are quoted by Deadline. The series was originally planned to be released in 2017, however, Showtime President David Nevins mentioned in August this year that production of the David Lynch and Mark Frost series will begin in September 2015, so there is hope for a premiere in 2016. Nevins also stressed that there is no pressure on Lynch, who completely controls the entire creative process. "We will start showing the series as soon as it is ready, and I hope that will happen sooner. Lynch is the only director of the series, which he directs from his own script, co-written with Mark Frost.
