Jerry Bruckheimer returns to Enemy of the State. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the famed producer has entered into an agreement with ABC to produce a pilot for a television sequel.

The potential series takes place twenty years after the events of the original 1998 movie starring Will Smith. When a professional NSA spy is accused of leaking classified information, an idealistic lawyer must team up with a militant FBI agent to stop a global conspiracy that threatens to reveal the secrets and personal secrets that tie the three together.

Bruckheimer , who executive produced the movie starring Gene Hackman in addition to Smith, Jon Voight and Jack Black will reprise their producer duties and share with Jonathan Littleman and ChristyAnn Reed. Morgan Davis Fel (Cyber) will write the script. Enemy of the State has earned $ 250.6 million worldwide with a budget of $ 90 million.
