Warner Bros. Film Studio has changed the distribution schedule for her movie "Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur", which was directed by British director Guy Ritchie. According to the official press release, the premiere, previously scheduled for July 22, 2016, has been postponed to February 17, 2017.

The reason for the changes was not specified. Most likely, the creators of the picture were afraid of direct competition with the fantastic movie "Star Trek 3: Infinity", which was also announced on June 22, 2016. Now its direct competitors will be "The Maze Runner 3: Heal Death" and "Fifty Shades Darker".

Jude Law, Katie McGrath, Annabelle Wallis, Aiden Gillen, Eric Bana, Astrid Berger-Frisbee, Djimon Hounsou, Mikael Persbrandt, Freddie Fox and other actors were involved in Guy Ritchie's project.

The movie is based on the novel The Death of Arthur by Thomas Malory, which was published in the late 15th century. This work contains numerous legends about King Arthur, as well as their later interpretations, set forth in French and English medieval knightly novels.

The role of King Arthur was played by Charlie Hunnam, the leading actor in the popular TV series Sons of Anarchy.
