Castle creator Andrew W. Marlowe and detective show executive producer Terry Edda Miller have contracted movie and TV content studio Tandem Productions to create Take Two. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

In the comedy criminal procedure, which will retain the style of "Castle", the focus is on a couple investigating crimes. Los Angeles-based private detective Eddie Valetik hires former hit police show star Emma Swift to advertise his business overnight. However, after the release of the advertisement, offers to hire Emma herself were poured. With great displeasure, Eddie teams up with the actress, who, using her experience on the show, helps the detective solve cases.

Marlowe, Miller and Tandem Productions Executive Director Rola Bauer will be executive producing. StudioCanal will be looking for buyers at MIPTV, which opens in Cannes next week.

Marlowe created Castle for ABC and served as showrunner and executive producer with his wife Miller for the first seven seasons of the comedy detective ... For seven years, the show has enjoyed great popularity, however, in the current eighth season, the show's ratings have dropped significantly.
