The New York Supreme Court has ended a two-year litigation between Lindsay Lohan and the creators of the popular video game "Grand Theft Auto V". According to Polygon, the court ruled that the actress's image was not used to create the cover girl for the game.

Note that in a lawsuit that Lohan filed against Take Two in mid-2014, it was alleged that the creators of "Grand Theft Auto V" borrowed without permission not only the appearance of the actress, but also the clothes and accessories she used.

The defendant's representatives argued in court that the plaintiff uses this process solely for self-promotion purposes, but Lindsay Lohan herself categorically rejected such assumptions. Her lawyers provided a 45-page document supporting her story.

However, the court did not heed her arguments and ruled that "all images and elements of the game are original", not related to the actress. Recall that "Grand Theft Auto V", created in the genre of action and "open world", went on sale in 2013 and became one of the most successful game projects of the year.

She has won several awards, including the Golden Joystick Awards.
