Michael Sheen will play a robot in the movie Passengers
Michael Sheen has joined the cast of the sci-fi movie Passengers, in which Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt have agreed to play the lead roles. This is reported by the Variety edition. The action of the picture will take place in the distant future on board a spacecraft, making a long space flight. One of his passengers suddenly wakes from cryogenic sleep long before the journey ends. Unable to fall asleep again, and realizing that he will have to spend the rest of his life all alone, he decides to wake up one of the passengers. Shin is said to have been given the role of a robot serving travelers aboard the ship. The movie, directed by Academy Award nominee Morten Tildum, is set to begin movieing in September 2015 Recall that the project has been in development since 2010. It was originally intended to be movieed by Weinstein Company and Focus Features, with Keanu Reeves and Rachel McAdams as the title roles. Later, however, the partners abandoned this idea, and the project passed to the studio Sony Pictures. The new head of the company, Tom Rothman, ordered to cut the production budget and only after that gave permission to shoot.
