Denny DeVito, who played the Penguin in Tim Burton's Batman Returns, will continue his collaboration with the renowned director. According to Deadline, the Hollywood veteran will play in the game version of the cartoon "Dumbo".

DeVito got the role of a character named Medici, the owner of a small circus, which is about to absorb the network owned by the villain Vandemer. The movie, which is to be scripted by Eren Kruger, also stars Eva Green, who will play the gymnast. Negotiations were also conducted with Will Smith, but their result was not announced.

Recall that the original cartoon was released by Walt Disney in 1941. "Dumbo" is one of the studio's shortest full-length cartoons. In the center of the plot is a circus elephant named Dumbo, a distinctive feature of which are huge ears. One day he discovers that he can fly. The cartoon won an Academy Award for Best Soundtrack.

The Walt Disney Company announced the movieing of a feature movie in 2015. It is supposed to be a combination of CGI and location. The shooting and possible rental schedules were not specified.

Dumbo will be one of many Walt Disney projects based on the studio's animation classics.
