Shane Black has promised R-rating to new Predator
The movie "Predator", which will be a sequel to the famous sci-fi action movie released in 1987, will have an R rating. Director of the project Shane Black told about this in an interview with Collider. "Predator fans, for the most part, will not want to watch a movie with a PG-13 rating," the director is sure, admitting at the same time that the restrictive rating reduces its rental potential. Black also promised to keep the kind of humor that was inherent in the original painting. "There are a couple of reasons why we decided that our movie will not be just another story of tough, pumped up, tough guys," he stressed. "It should be scary, but at the same time funny, and most importantly, it should be a fascinating sight that you don't see so often," Black added. Recall that the movie is due out on February 8, 2018. At the time of this writing, the plot of the picture, as well as the full cast, have not been specified. Narc star Boyd Holbrook was expected to play one of the main roles. IMAX also announced that the Predator will be converted using the proprietary IMAX DMR & reg; (Digital Re-mastering) and released on IMAX theaters worldwide.
