Godzilla to be pitted against King Kong in 2020
Legendary and Warner Bros. Pictures have agreed on a movie distribution plan for the popular monsters Godzilla and King Kong. According to an official press release, their "joint project", tentatively titled "Godzilla vs. King Kong", will be presented to viewers in 2020. This movie will be preceded by the premiere of King Kong: Skull Island in 2017 and Godzilla II in 2018. Filming of the first one is to start on October 19, 2015. The project features actors such as Brie Larson, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Corey Hawkins, Toby Kebbell, Jason Mitchell, John Goodman, John C. Reilly, Thomas Mann and others.
