Legendary and Warner Bros. Pictures have agreed on a movie distribution plan for the popular monsters Godzilla and King Kong. According to an official press release, their "joint project", tentatively titled "Godzilla vs. King Kong", will be presented to viewers in 2020.
This movie will be preceded by the premiere of King Kong: Skull Island in 2017 and Godzilla II in 2018. Filming of the first one is to start on October 19, 2015. The project features actors such as Brie Larson, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Corey Hawkins, Toby Kebbell, Jason Mitchell, John Goodman, John C. Reilly, Thomas Mann and others. Directed by Jordan Vot-Roberts. Earlier it was reported that some of the action will take place in the United States in the 70s of the XX century, and some in the legendary homeland of King Kong. The plot will be built around the hero, who goes in search of his brother, as well as a mysterious substance that determines the unprecedented size of the animals of the Skull Island.
