Premiere of Ben-Hur Timur Bekmambetov postponed
MGM and Paramount Pictures have postponed the premiere of Ben-Hur, which is being movieed by USA director Timur Bekmambetov. According to The Hollywood Reporter, instead of February 26, 2016, as previously planned, the project will be presented to viewers on August 12, 2016. The reasons for the change in the rental schedule of the picture are not specified. It is worth noting that the new movie adaptation of the famous work of Lew Wallace will compete with the fantastic movie "Suicide Squad", which starts a week earlier. Also on August 12, the Walt Disney studio's large-budget project Pita's Dragon will be released. "Ben Hur" is set in Judea in the first century AD, when the country was under Roman rule.
