MGM and Paramount Pictures have postponed the premiere of Ben-Hur, which is being movieed by USA director Timur Bekmambetov. According to The Hollywood Reporter, instead of February 26, 2016, as previously planned, the project will be presented to viewers on August 12, 2016.

He returns to his homeland to avenge his betrayal and find his mother and sister.

The main role was played by Jack Houston, the movie also starred Nazanin Boniadi, Johan Philip Asbek, Rodrigo Santoro, Moises Arias, Morgan Freeman, Toby Kebbell and other actors. Recall that this will be the second Hollywood movie adaptation of the work.
