Deadpool starring Ryan Reynolds was so interested in the quality of the movie that he paid out of his own pocket to screenwriters Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, for their daily presence on the set. According to ComicBook, the writers themselves spoke about this in a recent interview.
"Ryan wanted our continued involvement in the process, although we worked on the project for about six years in total. It was a real team of like-minded people - us Ryan and director Tim Miller. Naturally, FOX was not going to pay us for a permanent presence on the set so Ryan paid himself, out of his own pocket, "they said.
It also became known that Reynolds paid for his character's wardrobe on his own, in particular a set of T-shirts that depicted Deadpool's favorite actress from the original Marvel comics.
Let us remind you that Deadpool was released in February 2016 and became one of the most successful movie projects of the season. Despite its poor box office and R rating, the movie grossed about $ 800 million on a production budget of just $ 58 million.
The continuation of the picture, in which other popular comic book characters are to appear, will be released in 2017.
